The Ark — Skyscraper Challenge
1,350 m tower, Snæfellsjökull (Iceland)
Inspired by the 1,446-metre Snæfellsjökull glacier that towers over western Iceland, The Ark is a 1,350-metre tower, a post-Anthropocene architectural homage that enables the co-creation of a new ecosystem made up of interspecies (inter)connections.
The proposal draws on Jules Verne’s Journey to the Center of the Earth.
